Scott’s career stretches back 30 years. He has worked a journalist and analyst for the Economist Intelligence Unit and the Globe and Mail, and a range of specialist media spanning IT, telecoms, automotive and other industries. During his editorship at Campden Media, Scott refined his expertise in the private wealth management sphere, proficiency that has since paired him with clients including Oppenheimer Funds and HSBC Private Banking to deliver influential content.

He has interviewed industry titans including Ford Motor Co. CEO Bill Ford Jr. and NASCAR boss Brian France on the finer points of stewarding global megabrands. With a fundamental ‘Why does it matter?’ and ‘How does it help?’ approach to communications, Scott takes a direct route to help clients build powerful stories that are clear and compelling.

Scott has worked in the UK, the USA and Canada. His marketing communication credentials include working for ballistics firm Ultra Electronics Forensic Technology, retailer Hudson’s Bay Co., and tool maker Walter Surface Technologies. He holds a journalism degree from Concordia University, where he also worked as the president’s speechwriter. As a senior consultant with Family Enterprise Foundation, Scott is rarely at rest as a conference developer and storyteller for the world’s top family brands.
